Where to Recycle Electronics in Bakersfield
Old computers, monitors, and TVs pile up fast in homes and offices. In California, most of these devices can't go in the trash, so you need a place that will take them and handle them responsibly. Alianza Recycling & Recovery has been recycling e-waste in Bakersfield since 2009 and was the first e-waste recycler in Bakersfield and Kern County.

Devices That Hold Data
Hard drives in computers, servers, and other devices can still hold personal or business information after you delete files. Alianza physically destroys hard drives by drilling them, handles them under chain of custody, and provides a certificate of destruction. Read more in Hard Drive Destruction in Bakersfield or on our data destruction page.
Recycling for Businesses and Organizations
Offices, schools, government agencies, and healthcare facilities often retire equipment in bulk. Businesses and organizations can contact Alianza to coordinate eligible pickup, de-installation, and IT asset disposition with documentation for processed equipment.
Alianza does not offer residential curbside pickup. Residents can drop off electronics at the Gibson Street facility during business hours.
Service Area
Alianza serves Bakersfield, Kern County, and surrounding areas, with extended coverage in the Central Valley, Central Coast, and Central Desert by request. See the full service area.
Why It Matters
